Micky's Chinese Restaurant

The food is always really good if you are looking for that carry out taste. We do not order true Chinese here because this is a carry out style restaurant so do not expect real authentic Chinese. We only order the spicy wing dings (they are not listed on the menu so you have to specifically ask for these or note it on your order on the wings platter item), fried rice, French fries and occasionally I will order my daughter a chicken and shrimp hibachi platter. However, last night we did venture and order a Singapore Chow Mei Fun and it was surprisingly pretty good.

They called us to verify that we wanted the spicy wings instead of the regular full size wings and verified our order. Then they told me grub hub would process a refund for us because the spicy wing platter is cheaper than the regular wings platter. And grub hub did their part so we received notification almost immediately for the refund. When our order arrived it was nice and fresh but there was no fried rice included anywhere. So I called the restaurant and they offered to deliver it in 25min or just include a free one on our next order. So we opted for the free one and they were super polite about it.

We've been ordering from here for a few years and they have never got our order wrong. This is the first time we ordered via grub hub so there might have been a little confusion. However the food is always consistent and solid. I miss the good ole DC carry out so this was the closest to that taste that I found in Gaithersburg.

Good food. Very friendly. Mostly gets order very accurate. Delivers food hot. TSO Chicken sometimes can be hard like maybe it was refrigerated and recooked or cooked earlier and sat then reheated. Only issue is sometimes it does seem like its reheated. 1 day its super fresh soft chicken n fresh broccoli then another its stringy hard chicken n broccoli thats been soaked in TSO sauce.. i do love the food i just wish they didnt try to cut corners. They are really busy n do good business. Throw the food out when its been sitting. Other than that. Crab rangoon is the best around Tso Is poppin 90% of the time. (Dont serve reheated food)

Have had this delivered a few times over the last 6 weeks. Great taste, a lot of food (caution, do not order from here when you are hungry and if you do be sure you have friends to share with or a fridge for left overs). The delivery dude was personable. All in all, whether you use GH or pickup HIGHLY recommend,no opinion as to eating there, as I have not had the honor or someone to eat with :(. Yet, I do not doubt on site rather than a hotel room has to be an even better experience. Want oriental? Try Micky's. Also, personally, love the Watermelon 24 oz. bottled drink they have!

I'm glad I gave Micky's a chance. I can only speak for the vegetarian options but my food was excellent, especially the tofu with vegetables. I could make a meal out of their yummy cheese sticks, oddly they didn't come with marinara but they were so flavorful that they didn't need it anyway. Delivery was prompt and within the window I received in the text confirmation. Putting Micky's in my delivery rotation and will order for my meat eating kids when they're home from college next.

Was staying in a local hotel. I was pleased with my food (dumplings, roast pork with broccoli, and an egg roll) and delivery time. Another reviewer earlier complained about his dumplings and i was reluctant to order them, but I did. I had no problem at all with the amount of filling. Liked it so much, I ordered again.

We've tried another Chinese place in the area but this one is really great! The general tso's chicken was still crispy and the sauce was perfect. The fried rice was amazing - rice was chewy, there was a good amount of shrimp in the rice and just the right combination of veggies.

I ordered this for my mother and she said its the best Chinese food shes ever had.

Delicious. My favorite Chinese restaurant in the area.

My favorite is the Hibachi chicken and shrimp.

The food was fresh and delivered on time!
